Celebrating its 100th anniversary as a congregation in 2007, the Ocean Parkway Jewish Center was the first Synagogue built on Ocean Parkway in Brooklyn, New York.
Shabbat services are always warm, friendly, and inviting. This formerly Conservative synagogue has installed a Mechitza. Services are now traditional orthodox and are under the direction of Rabbi Robert Blustein. Shabbat services begin at 9 a.m. There is also a Mesivta Minyan in the Bait Hamedrash.
The synagogue offers traditional worship and ritual, in an orthodox setting. The synagogue has a rabbi, a sexton, and a board of directors. The building includes the Main Sanctuary, the Ainbinder Ballroom, a social hall with catering kitchen, a Bait Hamedrash, classrooms, and offices.
Join us for a dynamic Shabbos afternoon discussion with Rabbi Robert Blustein and Rebbetzin Ronit Blustein every Saturday from 2 - 3 in the Ainbinder Room. Mixed seating. Refreshments (including popcorn).
Ocean Parkway Jewish Center holds traditional services on all of the major holidays.
